We were founded in 2014 by Afzaal Zafar, a tech enthusiast who saw the need for a website that would provide its readers with the latest information on technology and gadgets.

We believe that people want to help. So Diffen, inspired by Wikipedia, is a wiki that anyone can edit. People want to share their experiences; for example, at Harvard vs Stanford, and help others make the right decisions.

When you are faced with choices, you are looking for unbiased information. Diffen makes it a goal to clearly delineate facts and opinions. The community keeps content unbiased and fact-oriented. The ratings and comments provide outlets for opinions.
How We Keep Diffen Unbiased It is virtually impossible to find a media organization free from bias. Even the New York Times, America’s newspaper of record, has a well-known liberal bias. Media organizations depend upon large institutions for revenue or information or both, which can become an incentive for bias.
The revenue model for Diffen is ads but we do not work directly with advertisers. As you see Diffen are served by third parties — advertising networks who act as middlemen between publishers like Diffen and advertisers. Each ad is actually served after a real-time auction where hundreds of advertisers compete to show that ad to that user at that time. All of this happens automatically and programmatically without human involvement.
We are not sponsored directly or indirectly by any corporate entity. That is how we stay unbiased.
